The Northern Ireland Natural Heritage Partnership (NICHP) is looking at ways to boost the industry in Northern Ireland’s forestry industry.

The new committee will hear from environmental and forestry companies in the region in the coming weeks.

Members willapronx hear from the바카라사이트 Northern Ireland Government, the Environment Agency (which oversees the industry) as well as local businesses.

The committee will also examine the potential for commercial opportunities such as logging and other forest products on the island.

However, NIHTP chairman Mark O’Donovan said 더킹카지노the focus should be on what the forestry industry is now and what can be developed.

He told the Belfast Telegraph the committee would not focus on creating jobs, but the aim would be to highlight how environmental and forestry companies need the expertise of Northern Ireland.

The NIHTP currently offers training for forestry managers across the UK, but Mr O’Donovan said the committee would look to create its own business training program for managers.

He said: «It’s very exciting and I think this is an area which is extremely important for Northern Ireland.

«A lot of people see that the logging industry has suffered and the number of jobs have been lost and I think this is the area that’s important for the future of this industry.»

Mr O’Donovan said in the past two or three years there have been four major events in the last seven months which have meant the company was able to open its offices and hire new staff.

«We’ve done the infrastructure and everything in those situations,» he said.
